In his own words:
Coach Jeff, I just wanted to say thank you for everything you’ve done for me over the past half decade. You’ve honestly been one of the most influential people in my life, and I don’t think I’ve ever properly thanked you for that.
You’ve taught me way more than just soccer. The discipline, hard work, consistency, and mindset you’ve taught me are things I know I’ll carry with me for the rest of my life. A lot of the lessons you’ve taught me have shaped the person I am today, both on and off the field.
I’m grateful for every practice, game, conversation, and every time you pushed me to be better, even when I didn’t want to hear it at the time. Looking back, I realize how much those moments have helped me grow.
Thank you for believing in me and always pushing me to reach my potential. I’ll always be grateful that I got to have you as a coach, and I know the principles you’ve taught me will stay with me forever. I genuinely appreciate everything you’ve done for me over these past five years.
Thank you, Coach Jeff.
